The Global Volunteers Alliance Against Coronavirus (GVAAC) is a Spanish non-governmental organization with the sole mission of protecting doctors and saving lives. Over 200 volunteers from countries all over the world have united under common purpose to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. We are currently supporting more than 1200 doctors from over 30 countries as well as different public health departments and authorities from seven countries by connecting them with doctors and experts in Wuhan and other parts of China. These individuals have been fighting COVID-19 for months. In addition, doctors and public health experts in Germany are also being connected to this growing network of healthcare professionals. You can find more about our organization on our website: www.covid19alliances.com.
• Build a medical consulting platform in which more than1,200 doctors from over 30 mainly Spanish-speaking countries have their questions related to COVID-19 by on-the-ground experts. With an efficient and effective system of volunteer translators, doctors, and program managers, this Q&A service operates daily, connecting doctors from all over the world with doctors who have been on the front lines of this pandemic since it first spread.
• Hold free webinars prepared jointly with Chinese and German medical experts, sharing the experiences of Wuhan doctors in their fight against COVID-19. These webinars, offered on Zoom, also allow us to do real-time translation for our global audience. Topics range from isolation, diagnosis, treatment, etc.
• Conduct other COVID-19 related activities, such as organizing medical supply donations or selecting qualified medical supply providers.
• Everything we do is completely free – there are no intermediaries or fees.
